The girls soccer season will reach its halfway point by week’s end.  Games this week are scheduled for Monday, Wednesday, and a full slate on Thursday.  In Division 1 John Adams sits atop the standings with a 2-0 record winning 5-1 and 7-1 in their first two matchups against D1 opponents.  For Division 2 it’s Gold Trail (3-0) 2 points ahead of Golden Sierra (2-0-1).  Those teams are scheduled to play one another 10 days from today.  Each team has 2 games to play before that head to head contest is played.

This week includes one heavy day of basketball games on Thursday.  As the young season progresses there are still several teams without a loss in both D1 and D2 and in each grade level.  Things will begin to get sorted out between now and Thanksgiving break where we have several matchups of these unbeaten teams.
