The Boys Basketball season enters the 4th of 5 weeks this week including games on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at various locations around the league.  Notable games this week include Markham playing Valley View on Tuesday where 1st place is on the line for the 8th grade teams and the 7th grade matchup is between both teams at 3-1 and tied for 2nd place.  In D2, Camino and CMP are ranked 1st and 3rd respectively in both 7th and 8th grade.  These teams square off on Tuesday as well.  The top two teams in 7th grade D2 go head to head on Thursday when Camino travels to Golden Sierra.

The girls soccer season concludes this week with regular season games scheduled each day from Monday-Thursday and the end of the season tournament this Saturday at Union Mine High School.  John Adams sits atop the D1 standings at 4-0 while Gold Trail holds the top D2 spot at 5-0.  With only 6 of the Division 2 teams qualifying for the championship tournament, solid play this week will be crucial to several teams vying for those last spots.
