The girls basketball season enters week 3 of 5 this week meaning we will reach the halfway point after Tuesday’s games.  The standings show that Pleasant Grove (4-0) is in the top spot for 7th grade D1 and Markham (3-0) is a half game ahead of Pleasant Grove (2-0) for the top 8th grade D1 position.

In Division 2, 7th grade, Camino (2-1) leads Gold Trail (2-2) by a half game.  In Division 2, 8th grade, Sierra Ridge sits at the top at 4-0 with Golden Sierra and Pleasant Valley right behind at 3-1 each.

The schedule is full this week with regular game nights scheduled for Tuesday and Thursday with rescheduled games on Monday and Wednesday.

The wrestling league enters its final week of preparation for county finals with meets scheduled for Thursday at Pleasant Grove and Northside.
