The County Sports League girls basketball season came to a close last weekend at El Dorado High School.  There were several back and forth games in both divisions causing a great level of excitement for the fans who were in attendance.

All 4 championship games included the #1 vs. the #2 seeds for the regular season so we got to see best on best all day.  In addition, The Division 1 champions for both JV and Varsity were undefeated champions.

The Varsity D1 champions were from John Adams where the girls there played an exceptional game leading by 15 points at one point in the game and then holding on at the end against a fierce Pleasant Grove team to win the championship by 5.

The JV D1 champions were the Markham Panthers who came ready to play on Saturday scoring in every way possible on their way to their title win.

In Division 2 the Varsity winners were the Gold Trail Blazers who held off the CHSA Lions on their way to a championship.

The JV winners from D2 were the Sierra Ridge Wolverines, beating Gold Trial in their final game.
