This Friday and Saturday the girls basketball season will conclude with D1 and D2 champions being crowned for both 7th and 8th grade.  El Dorado High School is the site of the playoff tournament with first round games scheduled for Friday evening starting at 4:30pm and semifinals and finals starting on Saturday morning at 8am.

In the 7th grade Division 1 race Markham holds the top spot with a game against Gold Trail on Tuesday.  Gold Trail is a game behind Sierra Ridge for the top spot in Division 2.  Sierra Ridge atop the D2 standings plays Pleasant Grove the #2 ranked team in the top division.  These 2 games Tuesday have a lot of playoff seeding implications.

In 8th grade John Adams has been at the top of the D1 standings all season and will hold that position going into Saturday while Gold Trail has acquired the top spot in D2 with a 2 game lead over CHSA.
