The Flag football season came to an end yesterday at Herbert Green middle school where D1 Pleasant Grove and D2 Camino each won double championships for both 7th and 8th grades.

Pleasant Grove won their 7th grade matchup against Markham with a final score of 13-0 including 2 long TD runs and stopping Markham multiple times near the end zone.

Pleasant Grove’s 8th grade team also led wire to wire beating Valley View 22-0.

Camino won the 7th grade championship with a tight 12-6 victory over Gold Trail.

Camino’s 8th grade team finished the season undefeated beating an inspired Miller’s Hill team 21-12 overcoming a 4th quarter deficit to beat the Hawks who had won overtime games on both Monday and Tuesday to nearly run the table.
