The Co-Ed flag football and the girls volleyball seasons enter week 2 this week.  Teams will be competing across the county in both divisions.  There were a couple of highly contested volleyball matches last week most notably the 8th grade matchup between Pleasant Grove and John Adams that came down to a 15-13 final set won by JAA.

The only close game last week in flag football was the 8th grade game between Markham and Valley View where VVCM held on to a narrow 6-0 victory.  The first game date of the season included a majority of crossover games between D1 and D2.  There should be some more good matchups this week ahead.
