The Boys Basketball tournament was played last Friday and Saturday at El Dorado High School with Division 1 and Division 2 champions crowned for both 7th and 8th grade teams.

In the 7th grade D1 it was Valley View who outlasted the rest including a missed buzzer beater shot by Markham to become this year’s champions.

In the 7th grade D2 tournament Camino displayed their dominance beating CHSA in the semifinal and Sierra Ridge in the final.

In the 8th grade D1 Pleasant Grove came in as the #1 seed and finished off an undefeated 11-0 season by beating Herbert Green in the semifinal and Golden Sierra in the final.

In the 8th grade D2 tournament Camino won their second banner of the day.  This time narrowly, however, with a spirited comeback by Pleasant Valley in the championship game that was stopped in the last moments of the game for Camino to earn the championship.
