This past Friday night the track and field season concluded with some highlights to share.  Vivian Tiesen of Markham and Giovanna Jones of Pleasant Grove both set new county records in the Pentathlon.  Jones set a new county record in the B girls 800m race, and the Pleasant Grove girls 4x100m team set a new county record.  At the trials Jace Johnson of Valley View set a new county record in the B boys 200m race as well.

Thus the 2025-2026 school sports year has come to an end.  We’ve had a great year of sports offerings, many schools winning team championships and multiple others having successful seasons with highlights both on and off the field.  Congratulations to all of our 8th graders, we look forward to cheering your athletic pursuits on in high school and beyond.
