The new school year is upon each of our 16 public, private, and charter middle schools as well as our 40 cross country schools.

The El Dorado County Sports League is proud to sponsor 10 sporting opportunities once more for the student athletes here in El Dorado County.  Our fall sports include Cross Country, Flag Football, and Girls Volleyball.

This Wednesday the Athletic Directors council will meet to discuss the fall sports lineup as well as the year as a whole to prepare a place for these young athletes to thrive at each of their campuses.

Tomorrow evening the cross country coaches will meet at EDHS for a coaches clinic to prepare for their upcoming season.

On Monday, August 26th Flag Football and Girls Volleyball coaches will meet with their athletes to begin tryouts and practices for their first games which begin on September 5th.

The first contact date for cross country coaches is Tuesday, September 3rd where athletes will begin to train for their first cross country meets on Wednesday, September 18th.
